“十四五”以来，朝阳区在全市率先实现29条214公里骨干河道连通有水，打造“一纵四横”的“朝阳水网”，不仅打通了水脉，更为城市打通了“呼吸通道”和“活力廊道”，一张城市滨水“金名片”愈发闪亮。

Since the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan, Chaoyang District has taken the lead in connecting 29 main waterways spanning 214 kilometers in the city, creating a "Chaoyang Water Network" comprised of "one vertical and four horizontal" lines. It has not only connected the waterways but also created "respiratory channels" and "vitality corridors", polishing the "golden name card" of the waterfront city.

Beijing's first waterway connecting the central area and MC has set sail for its trial run. Liangma River International Waterfront has become a popular tourist destination in Beijing to experience the city's canal culture as one of the first national nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters. It represents a successful exploration of "canal culture + tourism" in Chaoyang District.
